Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar los resultados del ensayo de inteligibilidad de la palabra hablada en cuatro salones del Edificio Polifuncional José Luis Massera de la Universidad de la República. La elección de los salones se basa en un estudio anterior donde se obtuvieron los valores de ruido de fondo, tiempos de reverberación y a partir de estos datos se calcularon las curvas NR y los valores de SIL. Con esos datos iniciales se plantea, para los salones más comprometidos en esos valores, el ensayo de inteligibilidad de la palabra hablada a fin de completar su caracterización acústica. Con ese punto de partida se realizan los ensayos, cumpliendo la normativa vigente. A partir de la misma se analizan los resultados a fin de determinar las condiciones de audición de estos locales. De esta forma podremos comprobar si el mensaje está llegando correctamente a los estudiantes que escuchan la clase y determinar si es posible, en las condiciones actuales, el uso de estos salones sin amplificación.
