Abstract

洗顔料は,皮膚を清潔に保つという機能的側面に加え,リフレッシュ効果等の心理的側面も期待される。洗顔料には,機能性や安全性,快適な使用感等が求められるが,とくに清潔で心地良いさまである「さっぱり感」は,洗顔によるリフレッシュ効果に関与するため重要な要素である。本研究では,評価グリッド法を用いて洗顔料の使用感に関する定性的評価構造を抽出し,洗顔料使用時における「さっぱり感」を規定する要因を明らかにした。さらに,評価グリッド法によって抽出された要因と「さっぱり感」との因果関係を明らかにするため,構造方程式モデリングを用いた分析を行った。その結果,「さっぱり感」は主に【汚れ落ち感】と【清涼感】によって形成されることが明らかとなった。また,【泡質の良さ】は「さっぱり感」に直接的な影響を与えないものの,【汚れ落ち感】を介して間接的に寄与することが示された。本研究の成果は,「さっぱり感」に優れた心地良い使用感をもつ洗顔料の設計に貢献し,リフレッシュ効果を通じた精神的な安定やストレス軽減など,生活の質の向上に寄与する洗顔料の開発につながると考えられる。
