Abstract
U analizi kanadskog meteorolokog indeksa opasnosti od poara (Canadian Forest Fire Weather Index System) za postaju Zadar, vidljivo je da su vrijednosti FWI i ISI upravo 30.kolovoza 2007.postigle najveu vrijednost (66.6 i 31.8 redom) u razdoblju od 1. lipnja do 12.rujna 2007.Vrijednost pokazatelja stanja vlanosti mrtvog finog goriva FFMC iznosila je 88.5 na dan 30.kolovoza 2007., to odgovara sadraju vlage u mrtvom finom gorivu oko 10-12% od njegove mase, a vrijednosti ISI ukazuju na mogue stvaranje poara s najgorim uinkom pa i s nedovoljno ispitanim ili nepoznatim uincima koji mogu biti posljedica jakog vjetra.Zapaanja na terenu ukazuju na plitki sloj vrueg zraka koji je brzo preao otokom.Prizemna mezoanaliza polja tlaka zraka pokazala je nad irim zadarskim podrujem stvaranje plitke mezociklone koja je uzrokovala sparno, djelomino oblano i vjetrovito vrijeme s umjereno do jakim jugom (SE vjetrom).Tada su u Zadru zabiljeeni udari juga vei od 10 m/s (36 km
