Abstract
As reflexões desenvolvidas neste artigo são produto de estudos sobre processos e mecanismos constitutivos de identidades culturais nas Américas. Distinguimos a abordagem do discurso literário como lugar privilegiado de circulação de metafiguras nas quais se identifica a expressão de ethoï representativos da americanidade, tomando como objeto de pesquisa narrativas dos escritores Nélida Piñon (Brasil) e Réjean Ducharme (Quebec). Considerando as relações interculturais entre Brasil e Quebec, analisamos de que maneira a prática desconstrutora de matrizes colonialistas, engendrando uma discursividade crítica, evidencia semelhanças que os aproximam e diferenças que os identificam sob o processo do neocolonialismo contemporâneo.Résumé: Les réflexions développées dans cet article résultent d’études sur des processus et mécanismes constitutifs d’identités culturelles aux Amériques. Nous distinguons l’approche du discours littéraire comme lieu privilégié de circulation de métafigures, lesquelles identifient l’expression d’ethoï représentatifs de l’américanité, en prenant par objet de recherche quelques romans des écrivains Nélida Piñon (Brésil) et Réjean Ducharme (Québec). L’examen des relations interculturelles entre Brésil et Québec, nous permet de vérifier de quelle façon la pratique (dé)constructrice de matrices colonialistes, en engendrant une discursivité critique, rend évidentes des ressemblances qui les rapprochent et des différences qui les identifient sous le processus du néo-colonialisme contemporain.Mots-clés: américanité; identité; métafigure; néo-colonialisme; recyclage.Abstract: The reflections developed in this article are the product of studies on mechanisms and processes that constitute cultural identities in the Americas. We distinguish the approach of literary discourse as a privileged place in the movement of metafigures which identifies the expression of representative Americanness etho, taking as an object of research narratives of writers Nelida Piñon (Brazil) and Réjean Ducharme (Quebec). Considering the cultural relations between Brazil and Quebec, we analyze how the practice of deconstructive colonialist arrays, engendering a critical discourse, highlights similarities that bring them closer and differences that identifies them in the process of contemporary neocolonialism.Keywords: americanness; identity; metafigure; neocolonialism; recycling
