nana nana (Fallén), 1820: 15 (Sciomyza) [Johnson 1925: 250] ST: 1♂ 1♀ Sweden, Esperöd. NHRS, unnumbered DIST: MEXICO (Baja California; Ciudad de México; Puebla: Huachinango; Tamaulipas). Also CANADA and UNITED STATES. The nominate subspecies, Ph. nana reticulata (Thomson), occurs throughout Europe.
