Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Three different releases of the SSH Open Marketplace are planned during the SSHOC project. The three corresponding milestones (MS42, 43 and 44) ensure the progress and the coherence of the various tasks contributing to the creation of the SSH Open Marketplace. MS 43 “Marketplace - beta release” is the second one and is described as following in SSHOC Grant Agreement: “Marketplace implementing core functionality, deployed in an operational environment, populated with an extended set of data, open to the whole community to use and participate”. This MS report describes the different aspects of SSHOC Work Package 7 activities that contributed to achieve this milestone. The public instance of the SSH Open Marketplace - accessible at marketplace.sshopencloud.eu - was released at the end of December 2020, and the communication followed mid-January 2021. MS43 was initially described in the SSHOC Grant Agreement as follows: “Fully functional Marketplace, open to the whole community to use and participate”. To refine the description and to adapt it to the work performed in WP7 over the course of 2020, a suggestion for changes is included in SSHOC 2nd amendment to the Grant Agreement. The updated means of verification for MS43 is the following: “Marketplace implementing core functionality, deployed in an operational environment, populated with an extended set of data, open to the whole community to use and participate.”

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
