Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The Heritage Network was commissioned by the developers to undertake archaeological recording of the site at Lane Farm, The Lane, Tebworth, Beds. The works included historic building recording of the agricultural structures and monitoring of the development groundworks. It was considered that the historic building recording had the potential to contribute to an understanding of the origin and development of Lane Farm. Examination of the farm buildings demonstrated that all the timber framed structures were built of re-used material, brought in from elsewhere. Poor building techniques were also demonstrated in the construction of Building 4. Alterations and repairs to various of the buildings had also been carried out, including the re-roofing of Building 8 and repairs to the brickwork of Building 2. It was also considered that the archaeological monitoring on the groundworks had the potential to contribute to an understanding of the origin and development of Tebworth from the prehistoric period onwards and to the development of Lane Farm. The recorded evidence indicates significant disturbance to the ground in the farmyard in the post-medieval period. A small number of cut features were identified, but only one, pit [101] may be of archaeological significance, but the date and function of this feature could not be determined. Although no clear evidence for activity pre-dating the post-medieval period was revealed during the course of the present works, the present project has increased our knowledge of the development of the site at Lane Farm.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
