\nEn 2019 s’est déroulé le colloque franco-canadien réunissant des chercheurs et des professionnels de la santé mentales des deux continents. Plusieurs études ont été présentées menant à des réflexions stimulantes. Dans ce texte, une doctorante et post-doctorante décrivent leur expérience et présentent les impacts positifs de leur participation sur leur parcours académique et professionnel. Ce fut un privilège pour la relève de côtoyer ces experts dans le cadre de cet événement.\n
