Crew’’, ‘‘ Canastota canadensis Csy. ’’, ‘‘CASEY bequest 1925’’, ‘‘TYPE USNM 39135’’ (red label), ‘‘ LECTOTYPE, Sableta (Canastota) canadensis Casey 1910, Designated: J.S. Ashe and V. Gusarov, 2001’’. Lectotype is designated to assure correct and consistent application of the name in the future. Lectotype of B. marginella Casey 1893 (here designated), #, with labels as follows: ‘‘N.Y.’’, ‘‘#’’, ‘‘CASEY bequest 1925’’, ‘‘ marginella -2 PARATYPE USNM 39509’’ (red label), ‘‘ LECTOTYPE, Bolitochara marginella Casey 1893, Designated: J.S. Ashe and V. I. Gusarov, 2001.’’ Paralectotypes of B. marginella, 3#, 8$, 1 specimen (sex undetermined), same locality label as the lectotype. Lectotype is designated to assure correct and consistent application of the name in the future. The lectotype of S. canadensis is conspecific with the lectotype and paralectotypes of B. marginella and agrees with the accepted concept of the species (e.g., Ashe 1992).
