ÁREAS DE ATUAÇÃO E PERFIL DOS FISIOTERAPEUTAS DE UMA CIDADE DE MÉDIO PORTE

Abstract
Introdução: A fisioterapia possui amplo campo de atuação especialidades. Algumas pouco conhecidas e outras saturadas, além de uma má distribuição dos fisioterapeutas em algumas regiões geográficas. Objetivo: Conhecer o perfil profissional dos fisioterapeutas, de uma região, para melhor compreensão sobre as necessidades da população e as caraterísticas de cada especialidade. Métodos: Estudo transversal, descritivo e quantitativo realizado através de questionário no município de Ponte Nova/MG, em 2021, com a participação dos fisioterapeutas registrados no Cadastro Nacional de Estabelecimentos de Saúde e inscritos no Conselho Regional de Fisioterapia e Terapia Ocupacional da 4° Região atuantes no município. Resultados: Um total de 30 fisioterapeutas foram entrevistados, sendo a maioria mulheres n = 17 (56,67%), adultos jovens n = 13 (43,3%), residentes em Ponte Nova n = 24 (80%), formados em instituições privadas n = 29 (96,7%). A maior parte dos pesquisados, n = 17 (56,7%), graduou-se entre os anos de 2010-2021, possuem pós-graduação lato sensu n = 22 (73,3%). Todos os participantes trabalham com a profissão, sendo a clínica, o local de atuação mais citado n = 17 (56,7%), e apesar de não ser uma área em expansão a área de maior atuação é a de traumato-ortopedia n = 18 (62,1%). Atuam na grande maioria como autônomos n = 10 (33,3%), salário acima de 4000 reais n = 11 (36,7%) e média de carga horária semanal de 48,3 horas. Conclusão: Fisioterapia respiratória e dermatofuncional são áreas da fisioterapia que apresentam franca expansão e no local de coleta de dados mulheres jovens, recém graduadas, trabalhando em clínicas compõe a maior parte dos profissionais.
