Entre la fin du mois d'avril et le début du mois d'août 2005, les huîtres et les moules du Bassin d'Arcachon ont été contaminées par un mélange de toxines (notamment spirolides et acide okadaïque), entraînant une longue fermeture de la commercialisation de ces coquillages.Les objectifs généraux de l'étude concernent 2 points complémentaires en liaison avec la gestion du milieu (Bassin d'Arcachon) : - détection précoce des développements d'algues toxiques (prévention / alerte) ; - origine et pénétration dans le Bassin d'Arcachon vers les zones conchylicoles (prévention / zones refuges).Dans cet écosystème les données du REPHY Arcachon permettent de faire l'hypothèse que ces algues ont leur origine à l'extérieur du Bassin, sans qu'on connaisse le déterminisme de leur accumulation.Les objectifs spécifiques de ces campagnes sont donc de vérifier l'hypothèse mentionnée ci-dessus et d'acquérir les connaissances locales concernant l'écologie des algues impliquées (Dinophysis), en liaison avec les caractéristiques du milieu (Bassin d'Arcachon et proche plateau continental : caractérisation des conditions favorables à l'établissement des accumulations de Dinophysis, rôle possible des stratifications et/ou d'éventuelles structures hydrodynamiques tourbillonnaires). La campagne s'est déroulée sur 5 missions de 2 jours.Le projet de rattachement est PNEC Chantier littoral atlantique.
