Este artículo examina la aplicación del humanismo existencial a la gestión organizacional desde una perspectiva teórica y crítica. La Escuela de Montreal adopta un enfoque del humanismo existencial que busca demostrar cómo las organizaciones pueden superar una visión puramente empresarial para integrar valores humanistas clave como la autenticidad, la integridad y la realización personal en su estructura operativa. A través de una revisión de la literatura, se analizan los desafíos conceptuales y prácticos que supone implementar un modelo centrado en el bienestar humano, en contraste con las métricas tradicionales de rendimiento y eficiencia organizacional. Se argumenta que la auténtica implementación del humanismo existencial en la gestión organizacional requiere un cambio radical en la concepción del significado del trabajo, la conexión individuo-organización y la responsabilidad ética de la organización. Se concluye que un enfoque humanista genuino no solo responde a imperativos éticos, sino que también puede mejorar la cohesión interna y fomentar la innovación dentro de la organización.
