Après les conférences mondiales de Paris (2001) et Québec (2003), l’Observatoire international de la violence à l’école, avec l’Observatoire Européen de la Violence Scolaire et l’Observatoire Canadien pour la prévention de la violence à l’école organise à Bordeaux la troisième conférence mondiale sur la violence à l’école. Cette conférence réunira des chercheurs et praticiens venus d’une trentaine de pays et sera l’occasion de rassembler le savoir international sur ce phénomène, d’un point de vue multidisciplinaire : criminologie, psychologie, sciences de l’éducation, anthropologie et sociologie. Elle sera aussi sans aucun doute une rencontre amicale dans la cité de Bordeaux, mondialement connue pour sa douceur de vivre et la qualité de ses vins et de sa gastronomie ! Le comité scientifique a sélectionné 130 communications orales et posters sur 450 propositions reçues, venues de 35 pays. L’évaluation s’est d’abord effectuée par deux évaluateurs qui ne pouvaient connaître les chercheurs ayant proposé une communication, puis en session plénière du comité scientifique. Les inscriptions à la conférence seront limitées à 350 personnes, dont 120 à 140 communicants.
