Ushbu maqolada Ibn Hojibning "Kofiya" asari va uning mumtoz arab tili grammatikasi manbalari orasida egallagan o‘rni va ahamiyati batafsil tahlil etiladi. "Kofiya" arab sintaksisi va morfologiyasi bo‘yicha yozilgan eng mashhur asarlardan biri bo‘lib, uning tuzilishi va ilmiy mazmuni juda aniq va tizimli tarzda bayon etilgan. Asar nafaqat arab dunyosida, balki musulmon olamining ko‘plab hududlarida keng qo‘llanilgan va talabalarga til qoidalarini o‘rgatishning asosiy vositasi sifatida foydalanilgan. Maqolada, shuningdek, "Kofiya" ning yaratilish sabablari va uning ilmiy metodologiyasi haqida so‘z yuritiladi.
