Abstract
Nasiona rzodkiewki, pomidora, papryki czerwonej, sałaty i ogórków podzielono na cztery grupy (po 30 nasion): 1. jałowe zaprawiane M. oryzae (miano 107 ); 2. niejałowe zaprawiane M. oryzae ( miano 107 ); 3. jałowe namaczane w H2O (kontrola 1); 4. niejałowe zaprawiane H2O (kontrola 2). Nasiona jałowiono w 0,1% HgCl2 i 75% metanolu. Następnie nasiona jałowe i niejałowe przed siewem namaczano przez 1 godz. w jałowej wodzie (grupa kontrolna) oraz zawiesinie bakteryjnej o mianie 107. Tak przygotowane nasiona wykładano na szalki Petriego zawierające 0,7% agar wodny. Obserwacje prowadzono przez kilka do kilkunastu dni od wyłożenia nasion na pożywkę. Kiełkowanie nasion sprawdzano codziennie o tej samej porze. Za kiełkujące uznano nasiono posiadające korzeń o długości co najmniej 1 mm. Ponadto podczas obserwacji mierzono długość kiełków. Doświadczenie prowadzono do momentu pojawienia się dwóch liścieni.
