Abstract
L’archiviste fait face aujourd'hui à une société qui dans la continuité du postmoderne a permis dans la documédialité l’émergence de la diversité de voix marginales qui imposent leurs vérités alternatives. Si la pensée postmoderne a influencé la théorie archivistique, l'article met en avant une remise en question du continuum archvistique à l'aune de la société documédiale de la post-vérité. Si le document supposait alors la vérité comme fait impersonnel au Moyen Âge, le document est devenu une façon plus personnelle d’exprimer ses opinions. À la facilité de fabriquer le faux, l'article met en avant le discrédit idéologique du vrai concomitamment à une force toujours plus grande permise par le document aux vérités alternatives.
