Data-Planet™ Statistical Datasets by Conquest Systems, Inc. Dataset-ID: 056-004-007 Dataset: Provides statistics on domestic prices, production, and labor market indicators. The index series are compiled from reported versions of national indices and, for some production and labor series, from absolute data. There is a wide variation between countries and over time in the selection of base years, depending upon the availability of comprehensive benchmark data that permit an adequate review of weighting patterns. The series are linked by using ratio splicing at the first annual overlap, and the linked series are shifted to a common base period 2010=100. This dataset covers approximately 32,000 time series covering more than 194 countries and areas starting in 1948. Coverage includes exchange rates, International Monetary Fund position, international liquidity, monetary statistics, interest rates, prices, production, labor, international transactions, government accounts, national accounts, and population. As of 2015, the IMF has 188 member countries.
