Abstract
El cáncer de tiroides es la neoplasia maligna más frecuente del sistema endocrino. Se forma en los tejidos que constituyen la glándula tiroidea, siendo la tiroidectomía el tratamiento de elección en la gran mayoría de los casos. La población que se somete a una tiroidectomía tiene riesgo de desarrollar una alteración deglutoria o vocal. La intervención logopédica es necesaria para poder valorar, diagnosticar y tratar las alteraciones anteriormente nombradas. \nEste trabajo de Fin de Grado tiene como objetivo principal hacer una revisión bibliográfica sobre las complicaciones logopédicas causadas por el tratamiento quirúrgico del cáncer de tiroides, el tratamiento de las mismas y, por lo tanto, la destacada función del logopeda en este campo. \nSe realizó una búsqueda de palabras clave en cuatro bases de datos bibliográficas (GOOGLE ACADÉMICO, SCIELO, PUBMED y MEDES). Tras la revisión de 291 artículos encontrados, 18 cumplieron con los criterios marcados para responder al objetivo de este trabajo. Se utilizó Zotero como gestor bibliográfico y las citas fueron referenciadas siguiendo las normas Vancouver. \nLos datos obtenidos evidencian una alta prevalencia de aparición de alteraciones deglutorias y vocales tras la tiroidectomía. El logopeda debe aplicar el tratamiento teniendo en cuenta a otros profesionales y las características de cada paciente.
