Doğumda Vazelinle Uygulanan Perineal Masajın Doğum Sürecine EtkileriÖğrencinin Adı: Yağmur İRMAK ÇELİKDanışmanı: Doç. Dr. Meltem DEMİRGÖZ BALAnabilim Dalı: Ebelik Anabilim Dalı1.ÖZETAmaç: Bu araştırma doğum eyleminin birinci evresinden (aktif faz) ikinci evresine kadar vazelin ile yapılan perineal masajın perineal travma, postpartum perineal ağrı ve perineal iyileşme düzeyine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmış randomize kontrollü deneysel bir çalışmadır.Gereç- Yöntem: Çalışma Kasım 2018- Nisan 2019 tarihleri arasında 120 masaj grubu (vazelinle perineal masaj, vazelinsiz perineal masaj) ve 60 kontrol grubu (hastane rutinleri uygulanmıştır) olmak üzere toplam 180 gebe ile travay süresince yapılmıştır. Masaj grubuna araştırmacı tarafından, doğum eyleminin aktif fazında toplam 5 kez vazelin ile 10 dk boyunca perineal masaj uygulanmıştır. Veriler GKÖ, REEDA ve McGill Melzack Ağrı Anketi ile elde edilmiştir. Bulgular: Vazelin ile perineal masaj yapılan grupta %42, vazelinsiz perineal masaj yapılan grupta %50 ve perineal masaj yapılmayan kontrol grubunda %87 oranında perineal travma gelişmiştir (p<0,00). Kontrol grubunda 2. derece perine yırtığı istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde daha fazla saptanmışıtr (p <0.04). Vazelinle perineal masaj yapılan grupta doğumun toplam süresi kontrol grubuna göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde daha kısa olduğu belirlenmiştir (p<0,00). Postpartum 3-4.saat perineal iyileşme deney grubuna göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde daha yüksek olarak belirlenmiştir (p<0,00). Sonuç: Vazelin ile perineal masaj perineal travmayı azaltmakta ve perineal iyileştirmeyi hızlandırmakta ve doğum süresini kısaltmaktadır.
