Abstract
La radio communautaire et multilingue observée a été fondée sur la base de préoccupations sociales louables telles que l'accès à l'égalité. Notre recherche a tenté de cerner le phénomène de la minorisation de certains"groupes culturels" dans la répartition horaire du temps d'antenne, au détriment et à l'avantage d'autres groupes. Une approche ethnographique nous a permis d'explorer le"système de catégorisation du monde" engendré et dynamisé par l'État et les pouvoirs publics, tel que le CRTC, mais aussi solidement intégré dans le dire et l'agir quotidiens des gens. Les regroupements, qui se font autour de deux concepts, l'interculturalisme, prôné par le gouvernement québécois et le multiculturalisme par le fédéral, alimentent une dualité qui caractérise les sociétés canadienne et québécoise, au travers des slogans tels: majorité vs minorités, nationalisme vs fédéralisme, etc., empêchant les membres de cette radio de vivre une expérience de partage horaire égal.
