Cette dissertation de maitrise a comme objet l'analyse de l'ceuvre La Québécoite (1983) de la franco-canadienne Régine Robin. L'auteur cre un espace intermédiaire entre te reléet la fiction pour développer des questions en vogue dans Ia communaut am6ricaine d'origine juive, telles que Ia recherche de Ia mémoire, du sentiment de I'errance et l'insertion de cette culture dans Ia pluralité américaine, plus particulièrement dans Ia culture québecoise. Les personnages de son ceuvre comportent des traits et des histoires qui pourraient tre attribues a l'auteur. Ceux-ci cependant portent Ia complicit d'etre fictifs. Partant des fragments d'histoires de vie,a travers ses personnages, Robin fait émergerte contexte d'une collectivité c'est à dire, une mémoire collective. Ainsi, son roman a l'intention de dire ce que te réel ne pourrait pas et de donner a la fiction un sens tout particulier. Nous voyons aborde dans La Québécoite,a partir d'une stratégie textuelle hybride et du dialogue intertextuet, une espèce de parcours psychologique d'adaptation d'immigrants juifs au Québec. II nous est exposé le complexe problème de t'identité juive, surtout par l'intermédiaire de personnages associés à plusieurs cultures : celle du pays où its habitent, cetle de leurs pays d'origine et encore une autre dépourvue de territoire, la juive. Cet imaginaire juif finit pourtant pour symboliser, d'une façon generate, Ia problématique de tout immigrant a Ia recherche d'affirmation identitaire et de formes d'insertion dans t'univers québécois
