Abstract
Remaja memiliki permasalahan yang semakin kompleks seperti kasus-kasus penyalahgunaan narkoba, hubungan seksual tidak aman, infeksi menular seksual, HIV/AIDS, Seks Pranikah dan kehamilan remaja, serta kekerasan seksual. Angka kejadian HIV/AIDS terbesar pada kelompok umur produtif 20 - 29 tahun sebanyak 14.005 kasus dimana AIDS terdeteksi setelah 5 - 10 tahun sehingga kemungkinan terserang HIV pada usia remaja. Faktor resiko HIV tertinggi adalah hubungan seksual. Sedangkan Pendidikan tentang seks sebagai salah satu upaya pencegahan HIV/AIDS di Indonesia masih dianggap tabu dan belum mendapat perhatian yang cukup dari seluruh kalangan. pendidikan seks hams dilakukan sedini mungkin sejak anak mulai mengerti dan dapat melakukan hubungan seks. Usia 14-24 tahun merupakan usia yang rentan terinfeksi HIV sehingga membutuhkan pengetahuan yang cukup tentang seksualitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif survei Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI di SMA X Surabaya yang berjumlah 333 siswa. Besar sampel penelitian berjumlah 182 responden yang diambil dengan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April- Mei 2013. Hasil penelitian ini adalah Lebih dari setengah responden berpengetahuan cukup sebesar 73,07% dan sebagian besar responden memiliki sikap positif sebesar 93,41 %, serta terdapat hubungan linier antara pengetahuan tentang HIV/AIDS dengan sikap seks pranikah pada remaja di SMA X Surabaya Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi pengetahuan remaja tentang HIV/AIDS maka mempengaruhi remaja untuk bersikap positif (kecenderungan untuk menghindari seks pranikah). Sebaliknya, semakin rendah pengetahuan remaja ten tang HIV/AIDS maka akan mempengaruhi remaja untuk bersikap negatif (kecenderungan untuk mendekati seks pranikah).
