Abstract
Penciptaan ini didasari oleh ketertarikan penulis terhadap sebuah konsep pendidikan yang dikemukakan oleh Y.B. Mangunwiaya. Konsep pendidikan yang memberi kemerdekaan pada anak. Penciptaan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penciptaan karya lukis, gaya lukisan yang digunakan, teknik melukis dan mengetahui hasil karya yang diciptakan. Penciptaan ini menggunakan metode Practice Ied-Research. metode ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu tahap Pra-image, Image, kemudian Image konkret, terakhir Penyajian. Hasil penciptaan ini menghasilkan karya seni lukis berbentuk dua dimensi pada kanvas. Menggunakan teknik pewarnaan Underpainting dengan cat akilik di atas kanvas. Gaya lukisan yang digunakan adalah Pop Surealis dengan objek anak-anak.
