Abstract
Las editoriales universitarias son una herramienta para socializar el conocimiento, un modo de acercar a la sociedad los saberes, las prácticas y las experiencias que se producen en la universidad, un medio para promover un diálogo y un espacio de intercambio entre los integrantes de la comunidad académica (investigadores, docentes y alumnos) y la comunidad en general. Desde hace más de veinte años, la Facultad de Bellas Artes (FBA) de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) edita revistas sobre Artes Plásticas, Diseño en Comunicación Visual, Diseño Industrial, Artes Audiovisuales, Multimedia, Música e Historia del Arte. Además, posee tres colecciones sobre temáticas relacionadas con el campo del arte y publica libros institucionales, catálogos y producciones de docentes y de investigadores. En el presente trabajo, entonces, se analizarán las etapas por las que atravesó la Facultad de Bellas Artes, desde el año 2014 hasta la actualidad, para la creación de su editorial, Papel Cosido, y de su catálogo digital. Para ello, se describirán, de manera general, las características del espacio de producción editorial que reúne a las producciones, las particularidades de los materiales que se producen, las causas de la creación de un nuevo espacio de asesoramiento editorial y las instancias de unificación de criterios editoriales que se realizaron.
