Ce mémoire présente l’élaboration d’une batterie permettant l’évaluation des habiletés pragmatiques pour les patients cérébrolésés droits, visant à contourner les troubles associés. Il met en lumière les difficultés rencontrées par les patients cérébrolésés droits, telles que les troubles de la prosodie, du traitement sémantique des mots, et des habiletés discursives et pragmatiques. Alors, la pragmatique, élément essentiel de notre communication, se trouve régulièrement altérée chez ces patients, entrainant des répercussions significatives sur leur vie sociale et professionnelle. Le mémoire s’appuie sur l’adaptation du Protocole Montréal d'Évaluation de la Communication (MEC), en se concentrant sur les subtests « discours narratif » et « métaphores », à l’aide d’illustrations, de mises en vidéo, ainsi que de la modification des textes selon les principes du FALC (Facile à Lire et à Comprendre). Une étude de normalisation basée sur une population typique a également été réalisée de plus une évaluation précise de certaines variables socio-démographiques et linguistiques a été réalisée. Il vise à combler les lacunes existantes dans l’évaluation des troubles de la pragmatique, en proposant des outils adaptés et validés pour un meilleur diagnostic engendrant une intervention orthophonique plus spécifique.
