Abstract
O presente trabalho pretende constituir uma reflexão sobre o entendimento de Ramalho Ortigão sobre Arte, dando-nos a conhecer um dos aspectos mais interessantes e brilhantes da obra do autor. Partindo de uma leitura cuidada e atenta de algumas das suas principais obras, iremos procurar revelar a forma apaixonada como Ramalho Ortigão se interessou pelos estudos de arte. Não esquecendo os princípios que nortearam o seu pensamento e sua própria vivência, sobretudo, no último quartel do século XIX, não deixaremos também de definir os vectores mais importantes no domínio das ideias e do pensamento. ABSTRACT: The present work intends to constitute a reflection on the agreement of Ramalho Ortigão on Art, being taken us to know it one of the most interesting and shining aspects of the workmanship of the author. Leaving of a well-taken care of and intent reading of some of its main workmanships, we will go to look for to disclose the form gotten passionate as Ramalho Ortigão if it interested for the art studies. Not forgetting the principles that had guided its thought and its proper experience, over all, in the last quarter of the century XIX, we will also not leave to define the vectors most important in the domain of the ideas and the thought.
