Determina la capacidad predictiva de la proteína C reactiva en relación con la \nexpulsión de litos ureterales del tercio distal en el Hospital Nacional Guillermo \nAlmenara Irigoyen durante el año 2022. La incidencia de cálculos ureterales en los servicios de emergencia y en las \nconsultas externas de los diversos centros hospitalarios en Perú está \naumentando de manera acelerada. Actualmente, es reconocido que esta \npatología puede deteriorar notablemente el bienestar emocional y físico del \npaciente y su entorno. Además, los cálculos de la vía urinaria pueden ser el \ndesencadenante de otras afecciones médicas, tales como insuficiencia renal, \nurosepsis, hidronefrosis, entre otras.\nDado la cascada inflamatoria que condiciona esta enfermedad urológica es \nnecesario considerar el beneficio de proteína C reactiva para predecir el Éxito de \nla expulsión de litos ureterales del tercio distal de 6 a 10 mm, de tal manera que se evita el uso de tratamientos más invasivos como la ureterolitotripsia \nendoscópica; además de ahorrar recursos sanitarios como tiempo del médico y \ncamas hospitalarias. Al notar la falta de estudios para esta patología en nuestra \nrealidad es que procedemos a realizar la siguiente investigación con la finalidad \nde brindar nuevos conocimientos al respecto.
