Abstract
Tämä selvitys käsittelee suomalaista rakennusteollisuutta ja työturvallisuutta Venäjällä. Selvitys on osa Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriön rahoittamaa From borders to shared space (BOSS) –hanketta, jonka tavoitteena on rakentaa toimivia ja pysyviä tutkimus- ja kehittämisverkostoja Suomen rajaalueilla \nammattikorkeakoulujen, yritysten, tutkimus- ja kehittämisorganisaatioiden sekä kansainvälisten korkeakoulukumppaneiden välille. \n \nSelvitys ei ole kaiken kattava tutkimus suomalaisen rakennusteollisuuden Venäjä-toiminnoista. Näkökulma on rajattu siten, että se palvelee BOSS-hankkeen toimijoiden ilmaisemia kehittämisintressejä. Keskusteluissa yhdeksi tällaiseksi aihepiiriksi nousivat työturvallisuuskysymykset Venäjän rakennustyömailla. Tarkka aiheen rajaaminen oli välttämätöntä myös siksi, että selvitys oli mahdollista toteuttaa melko niukoissa aikaraameissa. \n \nSelvitys jakaantuu kolmeen osioon. Ensimmäinen osio taustoittaa Suomen ja Venäjän välisen kaupan yleistä kehitystä. Toinen osio puolestaan luo katsauksen suomalaisyritysten Venäjälle/Neuvostoliittoon suuntautuneen rakennusviennin historiallisiin kehityskaariin unohtamatta tämän päivän toiminnan kenttää haasteineen ja mahdollisuuksineen. Ja lopuksi kolmas osio keskittyy tarkastelemaan työturvallisuuskysymyksiä Venäjän rakennustyömailla. Mikäli lukija selvityksen luettuaan kokee ymmärtävänsä aiempaa paremmin rakennustyömaiden \ntyöturvallisuushaasteita Venäjällä ja kykenee näin etsimään niihin konkreettisia parannuskeinoja, on selvitys saavuttanut sille asetetun tavoitteen.
