Abstract
Coordinamento scientifico \nSI FEST 2010 \nFestival internazionale di fotografia \n10.11.12 settembre 2010 \n \nDopo il triennio declinato sull’Identità, le ragioni della scelta del tema del 19° festival, Abitare mondi / living worlds, sono illustrate nella loro coerenza di percorso da Stefania Rössl che, insieme a Massimo Sordi, è stata ideatrice e artefice di parte prevalente delle proposte espositive: proposte che presuppongono e configurano un orizzonte ampio e internazionale avvalendosi di un osservatorio permanente e privilegiato come quello dell’università, che consente un quotidiano approccio alla ricerca, alla conoscenza, alla cura delle reti di relazioni reali e virtuali, all’aggiornamento disciplinare e didattico. Il rapporto costante con il mondo giovanile, la sua formazione e le sue propensioni, hanno ulteriormente motivato e consolidato gli orientamenti da tempo condivisi nell’ambito del festival di attribuire ulteriore spessore e visibilità alla giovane fotografia internazionale emergente: una direzione che per il secondo anno si conferma e si consolida nella impresa di Global Photography, una produzione del festival che ha visto nel 2009 con la collettiva intitolata looking at / looking for la partecipazione di ventidue autori e l’esposizione di 140 immagini, riproponendosi quest’anno con la mostra True stories, composta di ottanta fotografie, tredici sezioni fotografiche, cinque sezioni video che riunisce venti autori provenienti da Italia, Francia, Germania, Olanda, Svezia, Polonia, Russia, Sudafrica, Cina, Giappone, Stati Uniti, Canada e che andrà a rappresentare Savignano Immagini e SI Fest nel circuito di scambio fra Italia e Russia nel 2011, anno dedicato ufficialmente alla cultura e lingua russa in Italia e alla cultura e lingua italiana in Russia.
