À l’automne 2017, le Groupe de recherche et d’intervention sur la présence attentive (GRIPA) de l’Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) a été approché afin d’évaluer l’impact d’une intervention (Agir en pleine conscience) basée sur la thérapie d’acceptation et d’engagement (ACT) et développée par des travailleurs d’une entreprise privée d’assurances. Afin de répondre à cette requête, et en cohérence avec les écrits scientifiques sur le sujet, nous avons évalué les effets de l’intervention sur la rigidité et la flexibilité psychologique, le stress et l’auto-compassion des employés. Cinquante et un employés (n = 51) ont pris part à un essai randomisé contrôlé de type liste d’attente à trois temps de mesure. Les analyses de covariance (ANCOVA) de même que les tests t appariés utilisés dans cette étude révèlent que les employés qui ont pris part à l’intervention rapportent des indices de rigidité psychologique et de stress plus bas de même que des indices de flexibilité psychologique et d’auto-compassion plus élevés que ceux qui se trouvaient sur la liste d’attente. Cependant, les différences entre les groupes ne sont pas significatives. En outre, seule l’auto-compassion a continué d’augmenter de façon significative chez les travailleurs du groupe expérimental entre le T2 et le T3. Pris dans leur ensemble, ces résultats indiquent que l’intervention Agir en pleine conscience n’a pas eu les résultats escomptés. \n_____________________________________________________________________________ \nMOTS-CLÉS DE L’AUTEUR : ACT, rigidité et flexibilité psychologique, stress, auto-compassion.
