Frecuencia de los eventos cerebro-vasculares determinados mediante estudio tomográfico en el hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso

Abstract
Se realiza un estudio clínico descriptivo en el hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso desde marzo de 1990(mes y año que se inaugura la tomografía en ese servicio) hasta enero de 1995 para determinar la frecuencia de eventos cerebro vascular (E.C.V), los factores de riesgo, su sintomatología, diagnóstico topográfico, tipo de evento, secuelas y días de hospitalización. Se recolecta las historias las historias clínicas de todos los pacientes que al egreso tuvieron un diagnóstico clínico de eventos cerebros vasculares y luego se procede a seleccionar los que fueron comprobados tomagráficamente. Luego del análisis computarizado se concluye que ops eventos isquémicos tiene una frecuencia de 54.1 y los hemorrágicos de 45.9%. Los dos principales factores de riesgo son la hipertensión arterial y la enfermedad cardiaca con el 50.7 y 29.5% respectivamente. La sintomatología principal es la hemiplejía en el 87.7% la cefalea en 66.4% y el estupor en el 52.2% Las secuelas principales que al egreso presentan estos pacientes son las hemiplejías en el 15.4+- 7.9 días. Se hacen las comparaciones respectivas con otros estudios y se cita la bibliografía consultada
