Abstract
Hem tarihi hem de usulü açısından Hadis ilminin seyri İslami İlimler alanında oldukça önemlidir. Osmanlı döneminden Cumhuriyet dönemine geçiş sürecinde İslami İlimlerin durağanlık kazandığı akademik çevrelerce de bilinen bir hakikattir. Bu bağlamda Cumhuriyet döneminin başlarında Hadis usulü ve tarihi alanında âlimler tarafından akademik bir yöntemin oluşturulması ve bu alanda yetkin çalışmaların kaleme alınması durağan sürecin yavaş da olsa aşılmasında etkili olmuştur. İzmirli İsmail Hakkı’nın (öl. 1946) hadis tarihiyle ilgili eserinin yayımlanmasından sonra aynı halkanın devamı niteliğindeki Hüseyin Avni Arapkirî’nin (öl. 1954) Bugyetu’l-Hasîs Fî Târîhı̇ İlmı̇’l-Hadîs adlı eserinin de Nilüfer Kalkan Yorulmaz imzasıyla neşredilmesi son derece önemlidir. Kitabın giriş kısmında Arapkirî’nin hayatı ve eserlerinin yanı sıra yayıma hazırlanan Bugyetu’l-Hasîs Fî Târîhi İlmi’l-Hadis’in tespiti, literatürdeki yeri, kaynakları, muhteva değerlendirmesi ve takip edilen usule dair içeriğe yönelik bilgiler verilmiştir. Bugyetu’l-Hasîs Fi Târîhi İlmi’l-Hadis’in dörtte birlik kısmını müellife ait olan “Mukaddime ve Medhal”, geriye kalan kısmını ise sekiz dönem halinde ele alınan hadis tarihi oluşturmaktadır. Ancak müellif son iki devri muhteva olarak tamamlamamış olsa da her devrin temel özelliklerinin yanında meşhur kişiler ile çalışmalarını ayrıntılı bir şekilde ele alması bu eserin hadis tarihi alanında büyük bir boşluğu doldurduğunu göstermektedir.
