Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Objective: To verify the efficacy of early intervention in at-risk infants, to analyze the parents' knowledge of the quality and quantity of environmental stimuli and the effect of orientations at home on parents. Methods: It is a simple blinded randomized pilot study. Seven infants of both sexes, aged between 3 and 18 months, participated in this study and were divided into two groups: control group (CG) – which received orientations only at the ambulatory – and the experimental group (EG) – which received orientations also at home. To investigate the quantity and quality of stimuli in the family environment, the Affordance in the Home Environment for Motor Development - Infant Scale (AHEMD-IS) scale was used. To assess the motor performance of infants, the Alberta Infant Motor Scale (AIMS) was applied. Results: In relation to motor development, there was an improvement of 4 points in the CG and of 4.7 points in the EG between the first and second evaluation. When observed the opportunities of environmental stimuli, it was found an increase of 3.7 points in the GC and 12 points in the GE between the first and the second evaluation, indicating a greater gain in GE compared to GC. Conclusion: The research had positive repercussions on infants, offering information to provide a stimulating environment with better resources, guaranteeing a better motor development, besides minimizing the risks for delayed development.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
