Abstract
PERKEMBANGAN TARI LEMBU SURO KARYA PARJIYO PARSIK DI JAGALAN SURAKARTA (Renault Suryo Nuswantoro, 2022) Skripsi Progam Studi S-1 Seni Tari Fakultas Seni Pertunjukan, Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI) Surakarta. Tari Lembu Suro diciptakan oleh Parjiyo Parsik pada tahun 2011 dengan gagasan bahwa ingin menciptakan seni rakyat yang berasal dari Kota Surakarta. Seiring berjalannya waktu, tari Lembu Suro mengalami perkembangan pada bagian elemen-elemen karya. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bentuk tari Lembu Suro karya Parjiyo Parsik di Kecamatan Jebres Surakarta dan untuk mengetahui adanya perkembangan tari Lembu Suro karya Parjiyo Parsik di Kecamatan Jebres Surakarta. Tujuan tersebut berangkat dari sebuah permasalahan bagaimana bentuk tari Lembu Suro dan bagaimana perkembangan yang terjadi dalam tari Lembu Suro. Pembahasan mengenai bentuk diungkap menggunakan konsep dari Sri Rochana Widyastutieningrum yang membahas tentang bentuk fisik dan bentuk ungkap sebuah sajian tari. Selanjutnya untuk mengungkap perkembangan menggunakan konsep dari Edy Sedyawati yang membahas mengenai tahapan perkembangan dalam seni pertunjukan. Tari Lembu Suro berjenis tari kerakyatan, oleh karena itu tari tersebut bersifat sederhana. Pada perkembangannya, tari tersebut dipentaskan di panggung pertunjukan. Oleh karena itu Tari Lembu Suro di tata ulang oleh Dwi Mahendra untuk memenuhi kebutuhan panggung. Adapun elemen sajian yang mengalami perubahan yaitu panggung, durasi, jumlah sekaran, pola lantai, alat musik, dan jumlah penari.
