Abstract
Lereng yang kestabilannya menurun dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya kelongsoran. Kelongsoran dapat dicegah dengan pemasangan gabion. Dalam penelitian ini, tipe gabion yang direncanakan yaitu tipe stepped front face.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendesain dinding gabion yang aman untuk mengurangi dampak kelongsoran di kawasan Rimbo Panjang,Kelurahan Lambung Bukit, Kota Padang. Pengecekan kondisi lereng dilakukan dencan cara manual menggunakan metode Bishop dan menggunakan Plaxis. Pengecekan stabilitas lereng menggunakan Metode Bishop mendapatkan angka keamanan lereng paling kecil yaitu pada iterasi kelima senilai 1,322. Dimensi gabion yang direncanakan untuk perkuatan lereng dicek stabilitas guling, geser, dan daya dukung tanah menggunakan manual dengan hasil faktor keamanan terhadap guling 6,25 ; terhadap geser 1,60 ; dan terhadap daya dukung 3,77. Melalui perhitungan Plaxis, didapatkan hasil faktor keamanan kondisi eksisting 1,078 ; faktor keamanan kondisi stabilitas global 1,756 ; dan faktor keamanan kondisi gempa 1,696. Biaya dalam perencanaan Pembangunan dinding gabion yaitu senilai Rp 3.918.000,00 untuk setiap 1 meter panjang dinding. \nKata Kunci: Longsor, Faktor Keamanan, Stabilitas Guling, Stabilitas Geser, Daya Dukung
