Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

[EN] Background: In Colombia the musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) represents the first cause of occupational morbidity with an 88% of all cases. The total of MSD in Colombia in 2005 was 23.477 cases and 11.6% were estimated per 10.000 workers. For 2014 the statistics of the system of occupational risk insurance (ORI), shows that of 8.943.090 affiliates, 10.362 professional diseases were classified. Because of this, arises the need to generate strategies that facilitate the development of models of prevention of the MSD and additionally, the demand is increasing by the occupational risk insurers, of the simple evaluation and the tools of management that can also be used by a non expert professional. In this order of ideas, the protocol of intervention toolkit, used for the prevention of the MSD, it has been an innovative option to approach the study of this phenomenon. However, these tools have generated problems in their use and application by the professional experts of the Positive company (Mutua), which have had difficulties to carry out the application of these tools in a correct and optimal way. Taking into account the above, the main objective of this study is to integrate tools in order to verify the feasibility and reliability of the tools of data collection used for the intervention protocol for the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. Methodology: The proposal was developed in two processes: 1. An assessment of the experience of use by skilled professionals who apply the toolbox to companies affiliated to the ORI, to verify the acceptability, consistence and relevance of the information; 2.based on this experience of use, the information was collected and used as a platform to elaborate the new integrated approach; for that it has been divided in three parts: musculoskeletal health (MSH) in the company, MSH of the worker and MSH of the work situation. Were in each of them were defined the domains and subdomains. At the end, a questionnaire it developed with information integrated from de synthesis of the domains and the data were structured. To realize an initial recognition of the state of health in the company, concerning the risk of developing or presenting cases of MSD and the dangers in the work places. With this initial diagnostic it seeks to deepen with the toolkit of PIP-MSD when is necessary responding to the needs of the professionals and the companies. As a results, the proposal includes: preliminary identification of risks for MSD and the establishment of priorities; through the questionnaire of MSH , that consists in a quick evaluation directed of three possible conditions: there s no consequence (low risk); critic (moderate risk) or necessary intervention with urgency or detailed necessary analysis (high risk). In the questionnaire were used recognized tools for the estimation of the risk of MSD besides from the PIP-MSD, it was included the list of verification of the toolbox of Ontario and the method CoPsoQ-istas21. It is performed construct validation by experts who analyze the structure, contain, validity and reliability of the results; of the tools used for systematization of the information about MSD. It s validity and reliability of estimation of the risk in accordance with international regulations, makes it possible to simplify the complexity of the evaluation of biomechanical risk and the prevention of the MSD in the companies of different sizes and different sectors in Colombia. Future lines of research: the study will continue as base and contribution for the investigation group Health, Cognition and Work (IGHCW) of the Rosario University, who have developed the toolkit PIP-MSD for the positive company which have organized an integrated version.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
