Abstract
Rumah Batik Jawa Timur merupakan sebuah pusat kerajinan batik yang berada di Kota Surabaya. Rumah Batik Jawa Timur menjual berbagai macam jenis kain batik yang ada di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Produk unggulan yang dimiliki oleh Rumah Batik Jawa Timur adalah batik Pamekasan dan batik Surabaya. Rumah Batik Jawa Timur di kelola oleh Bapak Syarif Usman yang berasal dari Madura. Beliau merelakan rumahnya yang berada di Madura untuk dikunjungi masyarakat, hingga pada tahun 2008 Rumah Batik Jawa Timur dibangun dan telah diresmikan oleh Gubernur Jawa Timur pada waktu itu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian dan pengendalian dari Rumah Batik Jawa Timur sebagai salah satu pusat kerajinan yang ada di Kota Surabaya. Penulis menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Metode penelitian deskriptif adalah penelitian dengan cara mendeskripsikan serta menggambarkan fenomena yang diteliti secara detail, akurat, dan sistematis. Data yang diperoleh akan menjadi jawaban terhadap hal yang sedang diteliti. Hasil analisa lapangan dilakukan bedasarkan perumusan masalah yang telah dibuat sebelumnya. Peneliti dapat menyimpulkan bahawa pengelolaan yang dilakukan Rumah Batik Jawa Timur telah dilakukan dengan baik, serta mampu menarik minat pengunjung untuk mengunjungi Rumah Batik Jawa Timur serta membeli produk dari Rumah Batik Jawa Timur. Oleh karena itu penulis berharap pengelolaan yang dilakukan Rumah Batik Jawa Timur dapat menjadikan Rumah Batik Jawa Timur sebagai salah satu pusat kerajinan batik di Kota Surabaya.
