Abstract
Formålet med utredningen er å undersøke hvorvidt det er mulig å benytte seg av verdistrategier for å oppnå meravkastning på Oslo Børs. Vi har derfor analysert avkastningene for samtlige tilgjengelige selskaper på Oslo Børs i perioden fra 1998 til 2009. Selskapene har deretter blitt rangert i fem porteføljer, basert på prisingen i forhold til et nøkkeltall.\nAnalysen antyder at det er mulig å oppnå meravkastning i markedet. Dette stemmer overens med en rekke forskningsrapporter med utgangspunkt i andre markeder.\nUtredningen begynner med å gjennomgå den relevante teorien og tidligere forskning som ligger til grunn for analysen. Deretter presenteres resultatene fra analysen, før vi undersøker signifikansen av resultatene ved bruk av statistisk hypotesetesting og regresjon.\nTil slutt diskuteres det kort om meravkastningen skyldes risiko eller brudd på markedseffisiens, før konklusjonen blir fremlagt.
