Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This musical video product was designed using a qualitative approach with the Art Based Research (ABR) research method. The data collection techniques used were interviews and literature studies. Research refers to issues and problems found in society, then presented as a work. Video design goes through five stages, starting from preparation, concentration, incubation, illumination, to verification/production. The preparation stage begins with collecting data through interviews and literature study, then creating poetry according to the data and the concept of quarter life crisis. Next, the premise, synopsis and storyline are developed. The next stage is a workshop on packaging the musicalization of poetry with all parties involved in the creation. Then, the production stage consists of arranging music and recording vocals and guitar instruments. After that, audio editing is carried out in the form of mixing and mastering. Then, video editing and work review were carried out by Indonesian language and literature learning experts, writers and Indonesian language teachers. The results of the work evaluation show that the video musicalization of poetry with the concept of quarter life crisis is very suitable as a medium for learning poetry material in high school.
