Abstract
Modern sosyal ve ekonomik yaşantıda yenilenebilir enerji kullanımı giderek artış göstermektedir. Artan yenilenebilir enerji ihtiyacını sağlamak için ülkelerin yenilenebilir enerji sektörü teknolojilerine yatırımları ise son yıllarda artmıştır. Kapasiteyi arttırmak için yapılan her yatırımın ekonomik olarak getirisi ise ülkeden ülkeye farklılık göstermektedir. AB ülkeleri enerjide modernizmi sağlamak için çeşitli direktiflerle de bu kapasite artışına önem vermiştir. Çalışmanın ekonometrik model aşamasında, yenilenebilir enerji kapasitesi ile istihdam arasındaki kısa ve uzun dönem ilişki AB ülkeleri ve Türkiye için panel eş bütünleşme analiz yöntemiyle incelenecektir. Çalışma yılı olarak verilerin ülkeler için bulunabilirliği göz önüne alınarak 1991-2022 aralığı seçilmiştir. Yenilenebilir enerji kapasitesini açıklamak için rüzgâr ve güneş fotovoltaik elektrik üretim kapasitesi değişkeni kullanılmaktadır. Uzun dönem eş bütünleşme analizi sonucuna göre, ele alınan bağımsız değişkenler bağımlı değişken üzerinde anlamlı ilişkiye sahiptir. Yapılan nedensellik testine göre ise, RZG değişkeni ve GP değişkeninin istihdam üzerinde tek yönlü nedensellik ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. ( RZG→ISTD) ve (GP→ISTD). Diğer bağımsız değişkenler ile ( YETU ve SSY) istihdam arasında çift yönlü nedensellik ilişkisi kurulmuştur. İstihdam üzerinde en fazla etkiye sahip olan bağımsız değişken ise sabit sermaye yatırım değişkeni olmuştur.
