Abstract
Civillikums ir svarīgākais civiltiesību avots un tieši tāpēc tam tiek pievērsta tik liela uzmanība gan tā izstrādāšanas gaitā, gan arī pēc tam, jo diskusijas turpinās arī pēc tā pieņemšanas. Latvijā šis jautājums aktuāls kļuva pēc neatkarīgas valsts izveidošanas. Diplomdarbā “Civillikuma izstrādāšana Latvijā” ir izpētīta un analizēta 1937. gada Civillikuma izstrādāšana, uzmanību pievēršot sociāli- politiskajiem priekšnoteikumiem, jo Civillikums atspoguļo attiecīgo vēstures periodu un nostiprina jaunu sociālo attiecību veidošanos.\nDiplomdarbā ir iezīmēta Civilkodeksu izstrādāšanas gaita Vācijā un Francijā. Uzmanība tiek akcentēta uz nepieciešamību veidot civilkodeksus, kas būtu skaidri saprotami un kvalitatīvi, kas sistematizētu iepriekšējos likumus. Vācijas civilkodekss ir labs piemērs, kur izpaužas divu gadsimtu pieredze.\nAutors darbā analizē Latvijas Civillikuma izstrādes nepieciešamību, uzsverot, ka valstij bija jāveido Latvijas apstākļiem piemērots un jauns Civillikums. Darba gaitā skaidrota Civillikuma būtība. Vērība pievērsta arī Civillikuma principiem un atzīts, ka 1937. gada Civillikuma pieņemšana Latvijā vērtējama kā nopietnākā reforma tiesību sistēmā.
