El frontón Beti Jai es un espacio único, de gran interés arquitectónico e histórico. Después de un largo periodo de tiempo abandonado, el Beti Jai se rehabilita e inaugura de nuevo en 2019. A pesar de ello, sigue siendo un recinto olvidado y desconocido para la gran mayoría de la población. Este Trabajo de Fin de Grado pretende visibilizar el frontón, proponiendo un uso musical que permita la apertura de este espacio al gran público. Se realizan mediciones acústicas in situ para estudiar y analizan los parámetros acústicos que definen el recinto en su estado actual. Gracias a las técnicas de acústica virtual, aplicadas a partir de un software de simulación acústica, se propone un acondicionamiento acústico y el diseño de un escenario que permita adaptar el espacio para un uso musical. Se levanta un modelo tridimensional del frontón, que se valida a partir de las mediciones realizadas en el terreno. Se interviene en el espacio aplicando técnicas de acondicionamiento acústico y diseñando un escenario. Mediante el software de simulación acústica, Odeon Combined, se monitoriza el impacto de las intervenciones basados en el análisis de los parámetros acústico T20, EDT y C80. Finalmente se comparan las condiciones acústicas del estado actual con las simuladas después de la intervención. Se observa una mejoría en todos los parámetros acústicos que indican una compatibilidad con el uso musical. Queda demostrado que, con intervenciones de pequeño impacto, el frontón Beti Jai podría albergar eventos musicales, pudiendo así convertirse en un icono de la ciudad de Madrid = El Frontón Beti Jai (traditional Basque courtyard) is a unique space of great architectural interest. The Beti Jai remains abandoned throw many years to, later on, in 2019 be rehabilitated and reopened. Despite the effort, it is still a forgotten and unknown venue for the vast majority of the population. This thesis claims the place of the Frontón by proposing a musical use of the space allowing the opening of the construction to the public. In situ measurements are carried out to study and analyze the acoustic parameters that define the enclosure in its current state. Thanks to virtual acoustic techniques, applied on a simulation software, acoustic conditioning and the design of a stage are proposed, creating a scenario that allows a better environment for the acoustics. By recreating a 3d model it is possible to validate the measurements gather on the place itself. The intervention elected consists of applying acoustic conditioning techniques and designing a stage. Through the acoustic simulation software, Odeon Combined, the impact of the interventions is monitored, basing the analysis in the acoustic parameters T20, EDR and C80. To conclude, these acoustic conditions are compared to the ones obtained at the beginning of the investigation. An improvement is observed in all acoustic parameters that matter in the compatibility with a musical use of the space. With this, it is demonstrated that with a low impact intervention, the Frontón Beti Jai could host musical events, thus becoming an icon of Madrid.
