Abstract
La presente investigacion tiene como objetivo encontrar la correlación de las dimensiones de la exposición a la violencia y alexitimia en adolescentes de una institución educativa de San Juan de Lurigancho de Lima. La muestra fue conformada de 400 estudiantes del sexo varones y mujeres entre las edades de 12 a 17 años . El diseño es no experimental de corte transversal de tipo correlacional, de muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Los instrumentos que se utilizaron fueron el Cuestionario de Exposición a la Violencia de Orue y Calvete y la Escala de Alexitimia de Toronto (TAS 20) de Taylor y colaboradores. Los resultados mencionan una correlación entre la exposición a la violencia en el colegio y la dimensión de dificultad para describir sentimientos (rs = .199) y la dificultad para identificar sentimientos (rs= .305 ); una correlación entre la exposición a la violencia en la calle y la dimensión de dificultad para describir sentimientos (rs = .116) y la dificultad para identificar sentimientos ( rs= .210 ); una correlación entre en la exposición a la violencia en la casa y la dimensión de dificultad para describir sentimientos (rs = .168) y la dificultad para identificar sentimientos(rs= .336 ), por último una correlación entre la exposición a la violencia en la televisión y la dimensión de dificultad para describir sentimientos (rs = .184) ) y la dificultad para identificar sentimientos (rs= . 137). Por lo tanto, se concluye que la exposición a la violencia y la alexitimia existe correlación entre sus dimensiones.
