Abstract
Sopralluoghi, fotografie, interviste, incontri, partecipazione ad eventi e attività all’interno delle strutture visitate, hanno rappresentato, durante l’intero svolgimento della ricerca una modalità irrinunciabile di avvicinamento al progetto. Questa modalità di avvicinamento, attraverso l’ascolto e l’esperienza diretta all’interno degli spazi dell’assistenza, ci ha consentito di comprendere dall’interno le modalità funzionamento delle differenti tipologie di strutture e degli spazi nei diversi momenti della giornata e nelle diverse fasi del percorso di cura e/o di accoglienza, anche in rapporto alle nuove tendenze terapeutiche e assistenziali; di conoscere le modalità di gestione e amministrazione; i costi connessi alle diverse strutture in rapporto ai servizi erogati. Ci ha aiutato inoltre a mettere a fuoco gli aspetti più innovativi da sviluppare al fine di favorire forme di risparmio economico diretto e indiretto e di ottimizzazione gestionale e funzionale, ci ha inoltre permesso di comprendere limiti e possibilità imposti dalla normativa, dalla settorializzazione delle competenze, dalle risorse disponibili ecc. Le richieste specifiche emerse da questo confronto hanno relazioni dirette e indirette con la localizzazione delle strutture, il loro dimensionamento e l’articolazione e i caratteri degli spazi interni e hanno guidato le scelte di progetto
