Abstract
Ancienne, mais toujours nouvelle venue sur la scène publique, innovatrice, mais fermement ancrée dans la tradition, participant au marché, mais jouant sur des liens sociaux non-marchands, revendiquant son indépendance, mais demandant le support de l’État, soulevant l’espoir d’une société meilleure, mais se heurtant au doute perpétuel quant à sa capacité à l’atteindre, l’économie sociale et solidaire est à la fois éthique, politique, économique et pétrie de paradoxes. Les textes réunis dans ce document ont choisi la voie de l’analyse empirique de la réalité, qui permet de mieux saisir les particularités de leur objet. Maricel Rodriguez Blanco, présente une organisation piquetera argentine, le texte de Quidora Morales La Mura traite d’associations de consommateurs en France et au Chili, tandis que le texte de Fanny Darbus étudie des organisations qui se revendiquent de l’économie sociale et solidaire, car elles participent à des salons consacrés à ce secteur. Finalement le texte de l’équipe des Tremblay et coll. porte sur le mouvement des femmes et l’économie sociale au Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
