Abstract
El presente proyecto se inició con la necesidad de contar con un estudio a nivel del equipo de salud para conocer las implicaciones y la importancia del liderazgo y su relación con el estilo de negociación en una institución prestigiosa como EsSalud y para ello se encuestó a 46 profesionales de la salud de diferentes ocupaciones no sin antes realizar un piloto cuyo valor de alfa de cronbach fue de 0,839 lo que indica que el instrumento, tiene una buena confiabilidad . En este estudio se utilizaron cuestionarios para cada variable y fue de tipo observacional transversal y de correlación entre Liderazgo y estilo de negociación. Los resultados demostraron que en el hospital IIE clínica geriátrica San Isidro Labrador existe una relación positiva de grado moderado (coeficiente de correlación de Spearman = 0,543) entre liderazgo y negociación. Mientras mejor sea la orientación en el estilo de liderazgo (liderazgo ideal) se obtendrán estilos de negociación cooperativo y competitivo. También existe una relación significativa entre el liderazgo y estilo de negociación con respecto al sexo femenino, el cual denota ser un líder de equipo con un estilo de negociación contencioso y cooperativo, esto nos genera propuestas de mejora y mayor conocimiento para buscar se logren las metas en equipo en muchas instituciones siendo en esta ocasión Essalud
