Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan remaja yang mulai mencari jati diri untuk masa depannya, terlebih pada rentang usia 18-25 tahun dimana mulai mencari makna hidup. Pada tahap ini mulai memasuki fase emerging adulthood dimana atau peralihan dari remaja menuju dewasa dan biasanya akan mengalami kondisi quarter life crisis terlebih lagi dalam hal memilih dan mencari pekerjaan, dengan kondisi yang demikian tentunya dituntut untuk terus berusaha dalam menjalani segala sesuatu dan menyerahkan kepada Allah dengan tawakal. \nTujuan dari penelitian ini yakni: (1) mengetahui makna tawakal pada remaja quarter life crisis terhadap dunia kerja di Desa Jambean Kabupaten Kediri. (2) mengetahui kesadaran pemaknaan tawakal remaja saat menghadapi quarter life crisis terhadap dunia kerja di Desa Jambean Kabupaten Kediri. \nPenelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yakni sumber data primer yang berasal dari pengalaman langsung dari remaja Desa Jambean Kabupaten Kediri dengan melalui wawancara dan sumber data sekunder yang mendukung pada penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data mengunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data berupa IPA (Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis). \nHasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Makna tawakal pada yang dilakukan oleh subjek ketika dalam kondisi quarter life criris terhadap dunia kerja tergambar pada kondisi sebagai berikut: khawatir terhadap pekerjaan, pendidikan. Bentuk usaha yang dilakukan yaitu usaha melamar pekerjaan, belajar mengasah kemampuan, terus berusaha dan berdoa. (2) Bentuk kesadaran pemaknaan tawakal yang subjek lakukan ketika quarter life crisis terhadap dunia kerja berupa: berserah diri atas usaha yang sudah dilakukan, pasrah kepada Allah, ikhlas dan damai. \nKata Kunci : remaja, quarter life crisis, kerja, tawakal.
