ngationniste d'Adrien Arcand entre 1933 et 1966 : une analyse textomtrique siMon DelArosBil tudiant la matrise en histoire Adrien Arcand (1899-1967) est un journaliste, politicien et auteur qubcois qui marque les annes 1930 au Canada par la virulence de son antismitisme teint d'une idologie fasciste, nazie et ultracatholique 1 .En raison de ses prises de position, il est emprisonn durant presque toute la Seconde Guerre mondiale, de 1940 1945 2 .Libr de prison, il ne renie en rien son antismitisme ; au contraire, il profite du nouveau contexte historique pour adapter celui-ci.Il adopte alors un discours rvisionniste et participe au dveloppement du ngationnisme, ce courant idologique niant l'Holocauste et que Gisle Sapiro dfinit comme une mtamorphose moderne de l'antismitisme 3 .Depuis son virage antismite en 1929 jusqu' sa mort en 1967, Arcand a t la figure d'extrme droite la plus connue au Canada.Il tente aussi de se faire lire aux lections fdrales de 1949 et 1953 comme unique candidat du
