Abstract
La présente recension de la documentation traitant des paysages du \nSaguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean couvre un large éventail de domaines et compte plus de 300 références différentes. Elle rassemble l’essentiel des documents pertinents à l’égard des paysages régionaux. La recension de la documentation est précédée d’une description évaluative visant à en faire ressortir les caractéristiques générales ainsi que les particularités propres à chacune des sections où sont regroupées les références liées aux principales composantes des paysages. À la suite de cette évaluation, les documents sont rassemblés en trois sections distinctes. La première comprend les documents liés aux composantes physiques des paysages tandis que la seconde englobe les documents liés à ses composantes culturelles. La troisième et dernière section regroupe les documents liés directement aux paysages du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean. La dernière partie propose une synthèse sur l’état des connaissances actuelles. Celle-ci présente une vue d’ensemble de la documentation ainsi qu’une démarche permettant de se doter d’outils d’analyse qui offriraient une meilleure appréciation des paysages du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean.
