Abstract
Après avoir été sous la dynamique houlette de Maurice Tardif pendant quelque douze années, la direction du Centre de recherche interuniversitaire sur la formation et la\nprofession enseignante (CRIFPE) m’a été confiée en mai dernier. Au nom du CRIFPE et en mon nom, j’aimeraisd’abord remercier Maurice Tardif pour son immense contribution au Centre et à la recherche en sciences de l’éducation au cours de ces années, tout\nparticulièrement dans le domaine de\nla formation à la profession enseignante.\nPour le CRIFPE, 2005-2006 représente aussi l’année des honneurs. En effet, le 11 octobre dernier à Calgary, Clermont Gauthier et le CRIFPE ont été lauréats de deux prix\npancanadiens décernés par l’Association\ncanadienne de l’éducation. Clermont Gauthier, Chaire de recherche\ndu Canada en étude de la formation à l’enseignement, professeur titulaire à l’Université Laval et membre fondateur du CRIFPE, s’est vu décerner le prix d’excellence Whitworth dans la catégorie chercheur individuel. Quant au CRIFPE,\nc’est la palme du meilleur centre de\nrecherche au Canada qui lui a été remise. Il s’agit de deux prix qui témoignent de l’excellence de notre Centre et de ses chercheurs. C’est une reconnaissance importante qui fait du CRIFPE un des plus importants centres de recherche en éducation au Canada et qui souligne du même coup le travail de ses membres – chercheurs, étudiants et autres professionnels\net personnel technique – au cours des douze dernières années.
